Google Maps rocks pretty hard, but the new Y! Maps app and API beat it hands down.* What an outstanding job you guys did. I am mightily impressed. Y! should be proud – this is a truly GREAT app. Say hello to Ray for me. :>

* The only thing Google has that you guys don’t yet is the hybrid roadmap/satellite map. When will that be finished?

I’ve always used yahoo maps and I’m really glad they’ve encorporated all the cool new toys. Especially the traffic information! YAY! And the actual maps are so much nicer now. They really are awesome.

I love the whole yahoo maps inside flash , but I am having some problems with the API. I have posted few questions on the yws-maps mailing list (e.g issues extending CustomPOIMarker ) but havent gotten any response fo far. Are there any examples besides the the small ones on the yahoo website which explain things better for example how to use CustomSWFMarker.
