At long last I got my shipping notification for my makingthings set that I ordered at FFSF (a month ago). Can’t wait to give it a try and then harass all of my geekier friends that actually understand electronics better than me. I have a feeling I’m going to be doing a lot of reading.

I ordered the basic set that includes the board with USB interface, a slider, a knob, a pinch sensor, bend sensor and I think one other. The accelerometer that they were demoing at the conference was pretty spiffy looking but it wasn’t for sale yet, and as I recall it was also a little pricey while I’m still finding out if this is going to all go over my head anyways.

so yay for another flash-based interest (like I needed one).
